The Eaton families are not the same as Key, Mann and Hyde -- they started assuming they would be on track for Deal and a large majority of the families had traditionally gone to public schools -- they were not 'exploring all options' from the day then entered elementary.

Based on all reports (chancellor comments, open houses, etc), next year's Stoddert + Eaton students at Hardy will make up more than 50 percent of the class.

Just to note, both schools' current 5th grades are mix of IB/OOB.  As PP points out also, that pattern is also changing.  Within a year or two, the kids from from Stoddert will all be IB and also 75% of the Eaton class will be IB.[/quote]
