Violent crime in the nation’s capital has plunged dramatically throughout the year, as 2017 enters its final month. Violent crime is down 23 percent compared to this time last year, according to D.C. police crime data. https://www.google.com/amp/s/wtop.com/dc/2017/11/violent-crime-drops-dc-2017-nears-end/amp/
But it's up in formerly safe neighborhoods like Woodley Park. The predators are migrating.
They must be migrating out of the District altogether if it’s down 23 percent citywide.
The statistics are for crimes that are actually acknowledged. There are many more crimes committed that the police don't pursue or arrest. We are leaving DC because our once nice neighborhood is filled with petty BS that the cops shrug and say "hey, life in the big city."
Bye
