[flash]

I prefer 15 years younger, but 25 years younger can be a lot of fun.
My friend has a partner 25 years older. It was great when she was 20 and he was a hot 45 year old. She's 45 now and looks great and he is rapidly declining. He looks like her grandpa. Good times.
45 year old men are no longer hot. Their hair is thinning and they are getting paunchy around the middle, even the fit ones.
Plus PE and ED.
It's normal for them to marry late 20 year olds
Lol, no it's not. And when they do, it's not very good-looking late twenty year olds. Those women have much better options. All this "men age like wine, women age like milk" nonsense is ridiculous. In every 40-something couple I know, the woman looks way better than the man. Lots of men looking doughy, paunchy, balding, and just unappealing in their 40s, whereas most of the women take care of themselves and are attractive. It's such a tired cliche about young women wanting older men for their money too - most women make plenty of money on their own now, and the average Joe in his forties is not typically setting the world on fire in his career anyway.
I agree that men don't necessarily "age like wine." They don't necessarily age better than women. It's just that masculine traits tend to age better. A hard-faced, weathered man can be handsome long past his youth. If he has money and is charming, he can usually still get it. It just doesn't work the same for women. But it all evens out. Women rule the dating world when they are young. No one gets to be on top forever.
On average, men age better than women. Just an observation from a friend who attended his 50th reunion this past summer. The women universally looked awful; among the men, some looked bad, some looked their age, and quite a few looked much younger than their ages. Of course, the men were also far more successful than the women.
