I'm 45 now and see the marriages of some of my SAHM moms acquaintances unravelling as they and their husband grow farther apart intellectually. Or, so sad, they've discovered their traveling husbands have younger mistresses.  I would have never guessed it at age 35, but it happens.

Honestly, I think you need to shake off the pity party and reinvent yourself.  If you are a smart woman, get a better job, more education if necessary, take care of yourself, sharpen your image.  All these things are not mutually exclusive.
