Cardinal.  I think there was an influx of several "graduating" from Pride.  Some chatter about Pride maybe extending on to HS starting with the 23s.[/quote]

Oh.  So a rising 9th grader.  That does make sense.  The tryouts the year before freshman year is the most intense.  Every kid going in should know they have the potential to get cut.  It stinks when it happens, especially from a long time club but, it happens and its usually for a pretty solid reason (from a coaching perspective).  Im sorry her only option was Madlax.

And yes, Pride has told players they are thinking about expanding into high school starting with the 2023s.  So few Pride girls make Capital most years (approx. 5) that they need another strong option for the girls who come up through Pride but aren't good enough for Capital.  [/quote]
