For those who think it's not hard work, you really should try it.  Even try a local community theater or a local independent film.  I've been told many times by people who work behind the camera or work in tech jobs that it looks so easy...then they try it and realize that it isn't as easy as it looks.  To be good, you need to work hard at it.  It takes time, commitment, memorization.  Even those who think that singing professionally is easy, it isn't as easy as it looks/seems.[/quote]
