Does anyone remember her from Square Pegs? She's been around a long time. She's not conventionally attractive, but she is attractive nonetheless.
I remember her from Square Pegs. How about Annie? She was one of the original Annies on Broadway. Girl can sing.
Yes! And I remember seeing her in Annie when I was a kid!! I distinctly remember that day-waited so long to see Annie-tix must have been hard to get. And I remember that the original Annie, Andrea McCartle had just left the show and I was a little annoyed that I only got to see the "second" Annie! Also, it may have been the first time I realized that someone could use two whole first names as their name. I remember wondering if people called her "Sarah" or if they said the whole "Sarah Jessica" name and I thought that was weird. My mom told me that sometimes actors use their middle name because someone else in the actors' union may have the same first and last names- and they have to be original. I was probably 10 years old-I remember the whole day! The show was awesome and Sarah Jessica Parker looked really small to me but she could really sing (according to 10 year old me!).
I'm the second quoted PP. That's awesome! I'm about the same age and remember all the hubbub surrounding Annie (and Andrea McArdle). SJP goes by Sarah Jessica, which seemed odd to me at first but I've heard it enough in interviews now that it doesn't seem odd. I think she always went by that.
