GIVF also limits donors to 8 rounds (regardless of the pregnancy success rate) I believe.

FWIW, for each cycle, I sent my donor a gift in additional to her fee -- for the first, it was a necklace with an angel charm and a personal note.  For the second, spa certificate. and a note saying I hope she shared with her mom (her audio interview mentioned how close she was to her Mom).  Then gift cards of $500 bc I assumed she would prefer the money.

I really hope she knows how I feel about the miracles she gave me.  I picked her bc I had full confidence she knew what she was signing up for (she was almost 30 and married) and didn't seem desparate for money (like some donor I saw on non clinic related web sites).

Also, bc of a snafu, I actually saw the DE and am tearing up now thinking about how beautiful and peaceful she looked.   God bless.  You just cannot imagine what you did for me!
