OP here. I'm sure the DCUM world will get a kick out of this but I actually wanted to get a straight perm. Asian women sometimes straight perm their already straight hair to get it silky straight. My hair is naturally kind of frizzy. I had not gotten my hair done for almost a year so I was long overdue.

I ended up getting a sitter but when I was at the salon, I was thinking that it probably would have been fine to bring the baby.[/quote]

Glad you got a sitter. Please don't consider bringing your kid again. You have no idea when your kid is going to need you. A 2-3 hour stretch is a long time. My stylist would drop me like a hot potato if I did something that. It's disrespectful to the stylist. [/quote]
