It is beyond rude to ask this question, pp. I realize this forum has a couple of posters who are obsessed about agents and commissions and are increasingly frustrated that the disruption in the real estate industry they've been promising would happen for the 8 years I've been on this board hasn't happened yet. But you really don't get to ask questions like "what do you do all day" as if it's a genuine inquiry.

Oh, and by the way, you didn't sell for top dollar because you were so hung up on agent compensation. Ironic, isn't it?

I am a real estate agent who is in the 20% (maybe less) of agents who do 80% of the business.  If posters work with bad agents who don't respond to contacts or who don't work during the day, it is because they made a bad choice to hire that agent.  I work for a company that doesn't have those slackers, but I am forced to work with them often on the one transaction they will have that year.  I can understand the public's frustration with that type of agent, because I am equally frustrated with them. The only thing worse is the DCUM type woman who first fails at MLM and then tries real estate "because I love to look at houses."    [/quote]
