One must be at least 21 years old to buy handgun ammunition, and one must be at least 18 to buy rifle and shotgun ammunition.[/quote] Many of the big-box stores (Walmart) and places like Dicks Sporting goods not only ask for your DL at checkout, they actually run it through the cash register, recording the info. Not sure if every store does it; I couldn't find a legal requirement for registering the info, but it's what they do now.[/quote]
