It's not a good time to be a poor/working/lower middle class man. The education imbalance means that you have a glut of thirtysomething women who are holding out for an "equal (or greater than)" partner (i.e. upper middle class/upper class men). Maybe people should focus less on getting "more women in STEM" and focus more on getting more men to simply graduate from college at all. It's funny how one is a feminist cause celebre while you barely hear about the other.[/quote]
