At what age does a 4 year age difference become not so noticeable? I know a 27yo dating a 31yo, and at that age, the difference is noticeable. (Life experience) But a 38yo dating a 34yo doesn't. Thoughts?
I know people with larger age differences that dated younger. My guess is this is a specific life experience/maturity difference that could happen between two same aged adults that you're noticing... I know when i was in college, I was much less mature than some of my friends who got married at 19 or 20 and were supporting themselves at that age. And by 27, I was married, pregnant with my second child, had a house and a professional career... so I'm guessing because of these experiences, I was more mature at that age than your friend. I'd say in general though, post-college, this isn't a big age difference in and of itself.
