I grew up taking a weekly bath until I was around 12. My kids take baths every four or five days unless they've been playing in the dirt. But actually ask a scientist- some dirt is good for kids.
Yep. My kid took weekly baths unless they were exceptionally dirty until recently. He's 9 now and we've upped it to twice a week. For those of you with questions: Bottoms/bums: He uses a wet wipe on his bottom. Hygiene habits: He complained the first couple times we made him bathe on Wednesday (But "bath day" is Sundays....) but now is pretty used to it. Other body parts: He washes his face twice a day and his hands several times a day.
But why? Is it so hard to take a bath or shower? Why not set them up for good hygiene habits? What about behind ears, under arms, crotch? Sweat builds up. I don't wash my hair everyday but everyone should take a quick rinse.
