Yep. My kid took weekly baths unless they were exceptionally dirty until recently. He's 9 now and we've upped it to twice a week. For those of you with questions:
Bottoms/bums: He uses a wet wipe on his bottom.
Hygiene habits: He complained the first couple times we made him bathe on Wednesday (But "bath day" is Sundays....) but now is pretty used to it.
Other body parts: He washes his face twice a day and his hands several times a day.
