I am inbound for Walker-Jones but we would like to send DD to Langley with her friends.  It seems like we have one of the worst numbers in the city :-)  But I am still hopeful of getting in eventually.

That makes sense. IF you add post-lottery, early action doesn't apply. But if they have to create a new class to accommodate the IB students who did apply before round 1.[/quote]

I think they can get by with just two classrooms.  32 kids with guaranteed seats will attrition down to 28 over the summer, easily.  However, DCPS may decide there is enough interest to add a class anyway, even though the guarantee is not forcing its hand.  I think they will add it next year if not this year.[/quote]
