OP here, I am 46, done with kids, not too worried about looking drawn like a PP mentioned but only because I am round-faced. I know I can't spot reduce, but really there is not much else for the fat to come from! I am pretty darn thin. I guess I am a classic apple shape with skinny limbs and prone to a round belly. I don't think I'd be able to sustain it, but boy would I love to have a flat tummy just for one last summer. But I just feel like I would be a raging bitch depriving myself of every delicious thing to eat.
Your body sounds like mine. Even when I'm really skinny (like even when I was 14 and 5'4'' and 90 lbs), I have a rounded belly rather than a totally flat one. When I was a teenager, this used to drive me nuts because even though I was thin, it didn't look like the media's perfect body. When I got older, I realized that a lot of men didn't care that my stomach wasn't totally flat, and in fact found being slim with that roundness around my belly to be hot, even in swimsuits. It's mostly women who insist that the only way to look great in certain dresses/bikinis is to have a totally flat flat stomach. Maybe your body is different, but for me getting so thin that my belly would be totally flat would involve looking skeletal. I'd lose weight from anywhere (especially boobs) first.
