I grew up in 80s and rated R movies then were actually far more provocative and sexually explicit than they are now. OP, I don't remember my first R movie...we saw a ton of them at a very young age (7,8,9,10, etc). I have a 9 year old. For my children I would say 13. I believe you said you're child is 10, I would be more likely to let a child this age see a violent movie than a sexually explicit one. [/quote]
