What in the world?  You can't hear the beltway at all.  There's a lot of woodland in Bannockburn, so perhaps that's why.  But I never heard any road noise whatsoever, save for the residential street right outside.  The Beltway?  Come on. [/quote]

Beltway noise is absurd.  I am almost equidistant between the DC border and 495.  I am admittedly on the southern end of Bannockburn, but still folks a bit north of me are certainly not hearing the Beltway.[/quote]

There is a poster that chimes into every real estate thread about ridiculous things that don't exist (that they want to exist).  The only "noise" is from living next to someone like them!
