I'm a Jewish woman who still has "the faith" (I'm assimilated but fairly observant in the Reform tradition) who married a non-Jew. He's very respectful and participates in our traditions, even though he didn't become Jewish and has no intention to. We're raising our son Jewish. Fwiw, my parents never stressed the importance of marrying a Jew. It's all good. [/quote]
