Half the envelopes would be lost in a second graders' backpack as families wouldn't even know to look for them on a Friday. Common sense would say to send them all out in US mail so that everyone is assured of getting them. [/quote] They don't have to be in the weekly folders, they can be sent home separately. Also, an email could be sent to all parent telling them they were sent home. Not that hard. Many schools send them home instead of mailing. [/quote]
