Why? Yes, it is frustrating to wait when you know they have the results, but likely most people are planning on submitting a packet regardless of the results and if you're on these boards you've known about the deadline for months.

Ours were sent home in a separate envelope (we normally get Tuesday folders). Teacher sent an email notifying parents to look for the letters.

Nope. That wouldn't work at our school. We have Thursday folders. Half the envelopes would be lost in a second graders' backpack as families wouldn't even know to look for them on a Friday. Common sense would say to send them all out in US mail so that everyone is assured of getting them.



They don't have to be in the weekly folders, they can be sent home separately. Also, an email could be sent to all parent telling them they were sent home. Not that hard. Many schools send them home instead of mailing.

No one will. Schools received the scores yesterday. It takes time to put them in envelopes. The mail is is not stamped at school, but at a central location. The pick-ups for those deliveries are done in the morning, so sealed envelopes won't be picked up from schools until Monday.

DS got his score today. 120 so not in pool.
