This happens every year, OP. Every year someone who actually goes to the gym all year posts the same thing, because when something annoys you, the natural thing is to vent about it in hopes of finding like-minded people to agree, say it sucks, and then we all move on. And every year, someone gets all pissy because they think the OP is fat-shaming. Nobody who actually goes to the gym regularly gives a crap how much you weigh. We actually think it is awesome when people decide to make healthy changes. Inwardly, we applaud when someone decides to get in shape, lose weight, etc. We would just be happier if all of those people didn't suddenly decide to get their collective sh*t together on 1/02. We're not fat-shaming; we're cliche-shaming. If someone who went to church 52 weeks a year made a post on Christmas saying, "damn, church was crowded today" I would post something saying, "Sorry bro, I mostly skip it but I feel the need to go on Christmas." I wouldn't jump right to "they are Christian-shaming me" or "they don't think I should be there." They're wondering where the heck I was the other 50 weeks. (I was at the gym.) :-)
