Everything you've written here is true. But for a performer of her caliber, this should be [b]old hat[/b]. There's not a performer to who that hasn't happened. She  should have stuck her finger in her ear  to hear her notes and sang the hell out of it like her fans would expect, especially for a New Years show.  She is so apathetic it sucks. [/quote]

I don't think you quite comprehend the situation.  You can hear the music b/c you're listening to your TV.  When you're on stage in the middle of a huge crowd, you can't hear the music if your ear piece isn't working.  She made the best of a bad situation.

I wish she'd stop wearing those ridiculously high heels though.  Women--if you can't walk down stairs without help, then stop wearing stupid shoes.

I comprehend it. [b]I've had it happen[/b]. I stuck my finger in my ear found my key and saying the hell out of it. I didn't rely on my back up dancers to help me maneuver around the stage as I rolled my eyes and made lame non sequiturs. Technical difficulties is no excuse  even if it were true, which I don't believe it is.

Sidenote: It's getting so tiresome trying to explain to my kids why it's important to not suck as a human being with behavior like this where people are rewarded for bad attitudes or apathy. [/quote]

LOL, PP!  When was the last time you performed for an estimated [b]2 million[/b] people?

Also, LOL on your "sidenote," you've obviously had a tough year if one bomb performance has shaken you up this much.  You sound like an embittered back up singer.  Hope this year is better and try not to suck as a human being.  :)[/quote]
