I don't think you quite comprehend the situation. You can hear the music b/c you're listening to your TV. When you're on stage in the middle of a huge crowd, you can't hear the music if your ear piece isn't working. She made the best of a bad situation.

Uhh holy crud that's a head full of crazy you have there!! No I've never performed for a ginourmous audience- didn't say I had. I can still agree with the rest of the world that that was awful. I'm not even sure what your next statement means but I've never sang back up-to-date not that there's anything wrong with it. Performing was never my career, just a hobby or for whenever I needed to pull a performance out for summer $$ or travel during undergrad. And I didnt hit her performance heights nor her depths either = I'm good with that!!

Worry about your own suckage. As I tell all my kids: do what you have passion for. If you lose the passion, find a new job.

There is a high chance she was either lip syncing or using a backing vocal to boost her sound, because not even a superstar can sing outside in freezing temperatures. On GMA this morning the news anchors basically said this. That her ear piece wasn't working and she could not hear anything. Didn't know what pitch or which vocals she should be singing.

I love her. Who cares the performance got f*ed up. She hardly threw a hissy fit she just kinda went with it and boom left the stage.

Way too out of shape in that outfit. They panned from J-like them to her and it was comical because J-lo was in a very similar outfit. Mariah looked like her fat older sister.

Stop buying into the technical difficulties BS. It's an excuse. How do you think people sang before ear pieces were invented? People who sing live aren't reliant on ear pieces.

Remember when Adele's earpiece didn't work on the grammy's or some award show this year? She still sang.

I don't think Mariah can sing anymore. I don't think she can remember the words, and I don't think she can hit the notes. Her handlers are great at protecting her secret while pimping her out in those ridiculous outfits. This isn't the first time this has happened. Remember when she was supposed to sing her Christmas song live and butchered it?

It's time for her to hang it up. She can stay relevant since she's a train wreck of a former diva, so there's no need to worry.
