The performers can't hear a thing without those ear pieces. Her outfit was awful, but even at her worst she's a great singer. There is a high chance she was either lip syncing or using a backing vocal to boost her sound, because not even a superstar can sing outside in freezing temperatures. Clearly, she had lost her earpiece and it was causing her issues, and she either couldn't hear the backing music (likely) and/or the incorrect track was being played. She did not look stoned or drunk to me, but it must be like a bad dream to be onstage and unable to perform the way she'd like. Her reaction was appropriate for the occasion: Sh*t happens.[/quote]
