However, I think you will have some kind of issue like this with any name you pick. For instance, my name is an unusual name (family surname) that ends in -lly. People have called me every girl's name ending in -lly you can imagine...Kelly, Holly, Molly, Callie, etc. And, as PPs said, that happens even w/ common names like Michelle or Heather as well. [i]Someone[/i] is going to mispronounce, misspell, or somehow mess up your kids' name. It's just the way it is.

My nephew's name is Henry, one of the most common boy names in this area. He was not more than 24 hours old when already 2 people had messed up his name--the lady who did his hearing screen at the hospital had written his name on a form and spelled it Henrey and a nurse talking to my aunt in the hallway asked the baby's name, was told it was Henry, and then asked if it was a boy or girl.[/quote]
