A better question would be why the people in Michigan, etc. feel they are "entitled" to Federal jobs. The D.C. area has an educated workforce. Federal careers aren't a welfare program. Any attempt to redistribute our Fed agencies should be called out as a redistribution of wealth.
Exactly. The Federal government would have difficulty filling the rolls with educated, trained individuals who can do the jobs. And the senior officials and big donors will never agree to go to East Lansing or Waukegan.
You need only look at the State and Local government employees to see how true this is. Example: The low-life white trash WV woman who called Michelle Obama an "ape in heels" in a public FB post. She is employed by a non-profit in Clay County which receives government funding. Her position requires a 4 year college degree and 10 years of experience. Taylor (the racist) has a HS degree and was previously a cosmetologist. LOL. And she was fired from a previous job for stealing fundraising money. And she makes 80k a year which is probably living like a king in WV! http://www.wvgazettemail.com/news/20161210/clay-nonprofit-official-who-posted-racist-comment-to-return-to-work Those are the kind of high caliber people we'd have working for our country if we moved all the fed offices here and there, outside of D.C.
