Wonder how her and Vince's spouses felt.[/quote] I don't disagree that cheating is wrong, and if Eileen's or Vince's ex characterized the start of their relationship that way - as "the affair" - I couldn't fault them. But LVP has no dog in this fight, is not friends with either of their exes, and is supposedly Eileen's friend. It's just bad manners for her to characterize their relationship as an affair on TV when she met Eileen years afterward, and Eileen and Vince are still together 10+ years later, and their relationship has resulted in a child that can hear it described this way. If you were friends with someone who had been an alcoholic 20 years ago, before you met them, would you phrase a question "so is that when you became a drunk?" Just because it's true doesn't mean it's polite, kind, or appropriate for a friend to say aloud. [/quote]
