I agree.  I think the mom is really messed up but does her best to hide it when the cameras are on.  In the early episodes I think it's more obvious that she's trying to get Farrah riled up so Farrah will act out and the mom will look like the sane and reasonable one.  Farrah's mom is completely incapable of empathy.  She whines and plays the victim and I'm sure she was that way for Farrah's entire life.  Now she has "borrowed" money from Farrah for her plastic surgery - that's gross.  It seems like Farrah is to some degree supporting both of her parents.  The fact that they would take from her when they didn't seem to be having financial problems before the show really bothers me. [/quote]

Last night I caught Farrah saying her mom's bipolar. But Farrah jerks Debra around SO MUCH. Farrah says incredibly cruel things and then acts like the person she's said them to is crazy when they get upset at what she's said. She's teaching Sophia to treat Debra like shit too.[/quote]
