I don't know that's accurate. Letting your baby spend a couple nights a week with her grandparents is not exactly sleeping half the week away. I'm sure most of us would be overwhelmed with parenting a baby when we were 23, and if she has the opportunity to let her baby spend the night with a grandparent, I don't faultt her for taking it. Where is Tyler in this? Why the disdain for Catelynn about it? Tyler doesn't work outside (or inside) the home either, and apparently doesn't help out very much with Nova. Maci pawned her child off on someone who's not even related. As PP said, I think Catelynn deserves the biggest leeway for any parenting struggles, given that she has no idea what "normal" is, and had the least stable upbringing of any of them, including Tyler. It's clear that she's struggling with PPD.

That Daddy Derek mess with Farrah is ridic. And why "Daddy Derek"? How about... just Daddy? She's just prepping Sophia for her next man, who I guess would be Daddy _____ for a while. Better get used to have lots of daddies, Sophia!

Matt going off on the producers is also a dead giveaway something is up......and it isn't his house. Amber got that house on her own. Matt just moved in to be with her. I seriously doubt his name is on the mortgage (presuming it isn't paid off).

There is speculation on IMDB that he may have a total of 9 kids, not 7.

There is something about sober Butch that is so charming and endearing. I truly hope he continues to stay sober and rebuild his relationship with his kids and grandkids. Tyler's sister's speech was so unnecessary and hurtful. A wedding isn't the time or place to tell everyone how awful your father is, especially when it appears that he's trying to make amends. I understand the bitterness because I have a close family member with addiction issues, but that was wrong of her to do.

Tyler's vows were beautiful. I'll admit, I've said for a long time that the two of them are codependent and would be better off going separate ways. But now that they are married and have a child, I do hope they can make it work. I'm disappointed that they didn't go to college like they said they wanted, but given the examples that were set for them, it's remarkable that they've turned out as well as they have.

Ryan is a worthless piece of crap, but Maci also doesn't deal with him in the most constructive way. I imagine she's tired of dealing with his bullshit bit she often comes across as very immature in her communication with him. When he asked to keep B overnight on a school night and she said no, instead of saying "because" when he asked why, she should have said,"because I do not trust that you will get him to school on time". Saying "because" sounded like she was saying no for the sake of saying no when she actually has valid reasons for saying no.

This is true. If she's parenting without much help from Tyler, she does need a break sometimes. But I would probably ask a friendly looking cashier at Walmart to watch my kid before I'd leave her with April.

Gary did this perfectly. He went to a lawyer first, and I suspect (edited out) that she looked up every single case he had evidence of to make sure that the accusations are true. Then, he wanted it on camera so it wasn't a he said/she said thing. Matt didn't defend himself much, which is saying a lot.

I agree. I think the mom is really messed up but does her best to hide it when the cameras are on. In the early episodes I think it's more obvious that she's trying to get Farrah riled up so Farrah will act out and the mom will look like the sane and reasonable one.
