I think it was a set up in the part of the boy and his dad. His interviews have been interesting
Right, a Muslim can't be mistreated. But, if a Muslim is mistreated, he must've brought it upon himself as some part of a evil scheme. That's those scheming Muslims for you. It is really shocking how little shame you have in displaying your Islamophobia.
I was on your page yesterday. After listening to what this kid is saying in his media whirlwind, it's making me think otherwise.
I really don't know what your point is. As best I can tell, you think that because Ahmed's father is some sort of activist, this entire thing was a set-up. To what end? But, let's discuss some things that we know are set-ups. All the O'Keefe videos that set up Acorn and others. You liked those videos didn't you? The videos coming out about Planned Parenthood were set-ups with the photographers adapting false identities. You are a great fan of those videos, are you not? I don't think the incident with the clock was a set-up. But, I think you are a giant hypocrite for using that as an excuse to "think otherwise" about a situation that was clearly mishandled.
I think one should root out lawbreakers - PP has been lying to the public. Ditto Acorn. There were indictments with the latter. The former remains to be seen, but those videos speak for themselves in so many ways. If this kid and his father planned this, you need to show me the laws the school and the police broke in investigating this situation. If the school was actively persecuting Muslim students and these two prove that, more power to them. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. The clock could have been put in the kid's locker after he showed the engineering teacher. Or stayed in the engineering room. Unfortunately, he took it to English, and an overzealous teacher read into it, as did an overzealous administrative staff. They chose to err on the side of caution and call police. I probably would not have done that were it me, but then, I have a background in tech and would have been able to suss the situation out. They should have also called the engineering teacher in and asked him/her. All this, in my opinion, is unfortunate, but that's liberalism for you. There wasn't a measured response. As I said, I was on your page yesterday. Today, after hearing the kid speak, and knowing the father's activist background, it's making me curious. Not convinced, but definitely curious. Irving has been the site of much Islamic activism, as well as one high profile, heinous crime (honor killing of two girls). If it were 'out there Idaho', I would not be going here. But Irving, TX? Yep, gotta wonder.
