Unbelievable how many people can't spell Bridget's name; even saying, "BRIDGET.  Just 'bridge' with a 't' " is met with confused looks.  No, not Bridgid (too Irish and your family has been here for over 100 years) and not Bridgette.  At home, you call her Bridge or Bridgey.  [b]Most common misspelling is Bridgette, family hasn't been here for even a 100 years, let alone over 100.[/b]

Her middle name is Catherine.  Or Rose.  Or Claire. [b]Middle name isn't Irish at all, rather after her paternal great grandmother.[/b]
