Don't think that just because a handful of crackpots got TV airtime that they represent the majority of Wootton parents. There were many more parents who, once they understood the details, withdrew their support from the "save wootton" litigation/protest/movement. Of the three individuals who I know remained "hardcore", I dug a little into their motivation. In one case the person was a non-native-English-speaker who really didn't understand the specifics. In two other cases, the individuals seemed to have unspoken reasons for resisting a move to Crown. Once the full set of facts and details are exposed in court on cross-examination, I believe their lawsuit will collapse, but that's an opinion based on personal interactions.[/quote]
