Starting salaries at top companies (FAANG) are based on experience, not where you went to school. A kid from VaTech who gets in is being paid the same as one from MIT. Go talk to engineers at any company, and they will work alongside people from many different schools and the starting pays are similar. How you advance has to do with your on the job skills, not where you attended College. [/quote]
