She craves fame, exposure, and drama. It fuels her. She probably talks about work and PR all the time. So thirsty, so exhausting. He’s the opposite. He doesn’t need or want media exposure. He works on movies and other projects quietly. He doesn’t enjoy red carpets or big spectacles. Most people in recovery don’t enjoy such things. Having been married to Garner, on some level he knows what “normal” families look like and probably wants some semblance of normalcy…at least for his kids. He can’t help but notice that JLo isn’t a good mom…she’s a diva. I agree with the pp who brought up JLo’s non-binary kid and his own non-binary kid. Straw that broke the camel’s back? Maybe his kid is dealing with mental health issues and he’s feeling scared/guilty and lashing out?
Disagree that he doesn’t love publicity. All of his relationships have been with the highest profile women possible. Gwyneth Paltrow post Brad Pitt and an Oscar win and starring in a ton of movies, then onto JLO who was at the top and remember he did that ridiculous music video with her showing him grabbing her ass on a yacht. It was so over-the-top, even matt Damon publicly intervened and said how ridiculous it was. That ends and immediately he gets with Jen garner who just transitioned from a tv star to a huge movie star with the super hero movies and 13 going on 30 was a blockbuster. Now back with JLO when she is far from stepping away but releasing new music, a ton of movies, trying to do a big tour… insane to say he hates the spotlight. He loves it, but he struggles with addiction and depression so he wants it only on his terms but that is not how it works. So he ends up being miserable. They BOTH have major issues. It’s always the way. A sane and healthy Brad Pitt didn’t run to Angelina Jolie so they could live a quiet normal life. He wanted to escape into crazy and chaos and that is what he got. Same with Ben.
