They have a U-17 United team that practices at Hanson. That team has a large roster. So much so that they kind of split it in two and one team plays EDP and the other plays NCSL. But to the best of my knowledge, none (or *very* few) of those players have ever played with the U-17 GA team.[/quote]

Yep.  Not many players float between their United and GA but there are times it happens.  Even for the GA2 teams, not many of those players end up moving up to the actual GA team.

It's a system that's in place elsewhere as well.  At other clubs you'll rarely see a lot of kids get pushed up through to the 1st team.  It happens but not often, the lower teams are opportunities to show out.[/quote]
