The whole outfit looks disconnected to me due. Her styling doesn’t match the dress. She has a deep side part with curls and an elegant emerald choker—a glamorous, old Hollywood look—and then there’s this bright, almost neon green dress which skews more modern. I think she needed to style it differently. It might have worked better if she wore sleek, straight hair and different makeup.
Part of the problem is that she is so, so thin, so thin that her proportions are off. The distance from her bustline to the top of her head looks like she is stretched about six inches too tall, and her formerly slim hips are now nothing at all. She can’t wear clothes well because her figure is destroyed and she never really had any taste to begin with.
I wonder why she likes to be this thin.
My guess is that she has IbS or something similar. Basically all the women I know over the age of 40 who are extrremely thin are either addicted to running, or have severe GI problems that really limit what they can eat. It seems especially prevalent in people that have Northern European ancestry. I think there an auto-immune component but also people with stressful lives seem somewhat more affected. I’d bet money she’s on some gluten free or whole 30 diet for a GI or auto-immune problem but doesn’t want to talk about it publicly.
She has always been thin. I think the “thinner” look she has now is just aging. Women that are already thin look thinner in middle age. Usually a combination of facial fat/collagen decreasing and the subcutaneous fat all over decreasing, plus being very active with young kids and a busy schedule. I don’t think she looks emaciated- just middle age thin
