Apples and oranges. Do you really think that if you impose some type of massive gun control that the United States is suddenly going to turn into Switzerland or Denmark or New Zealand?  Those are wonderful places but they simply don't have to deal with the same underlying issues of criminal behavior that we do.[/quote]

What about China? If a country with a sixth of the world’s population living in some of the densest urban areas in the world can ban guns, pretty sure we can do it, too. Obviously there will always be some semblance of a black market, but pretty sure impulsive, racist 17 year olds would have to try a hell of a lot harder to murder their neighbors.[/quote]
