Jon is being vindictive at this point and just hurting Kate because he can.  Ironically, Jon is the one hitting the talk shows and dishing out embarrassing little tidbits about his ex wife and his own children.

Well, because they are minors and require work permits to appear on camera, which requires cooperation by both parents. TLC is out of compliance and filmed without this. Should abused child starts be formed to perform without any working permits in place? Pushed by their Lohan-like parents regardless of the laws? Look at how those Disney kids turned out and are abused. He is a parent and has not been found unfit in any way. So to do this "off the books" is illegal, and they were justly fined for it. What's your argument to the Prosecutor and the Department of Labor who denied the permits? Because the above doesn't hold water. [/quote]
