How do you know all these details? Is it in People or US Weekly?

Yes, because 15 year olds make good decisions all the time.
There are plenty of teenage celebrities that are used to being in the spotlight. They aren't babies anymore, their dad hasn't been a part of their lives for awhile and if they are comfortable being on camera with their mom why shouldn't they be able to do so?
Jon is being vindictive at this point and just hurting Kate because he can. Ironically, Jon is the one hitting the talk shows and dishing out embarrassing little tidbits about his ex wife and his own children.
John is trying to be a parent and put the kids first. Wing on tv and no privacy is not a childhood. John has been slandered for years and under a gag order. Good for him.
Those celebrity teenagers are by choice and not 24-7 with cameras.
Jon is the one who doesn't want the kids to be on camera. The kids are clearly not the ones saying that they don't want to be on camera. As always, Jon is putting his own wants first and completely ignoring the fact that Kate and their kids are separate entities who have the right to live their own lives as they see fit.
Kate objects to Jon's attempts to control her and I can't blame her. Jon is winning on legal technicalities, not because his kids agree with a thing that he is doing to "stand up for them". Like Cara and Maddie they probably resent the heck out of their dad for intruding into their lives in such a contentious way.

Er, no, 15-year-olds cannot just live their lives as they see fit. It's called parenting. Kids often disagree with their parents during the teen years on all manner of life issues.
Anonymous wrote:They had a guardian ad litem who along with a judge said filming wasn't in the best interest of the kids in 2018. The court said they would have to get work permits to film and both parents would have to agree. Tlc and Kate ignored that order.

How do you know the kids liked being filmed? Do you have any idea how many hours of filming are required for a30 minute episode? That is hard work for a child, why do you think labor laws exist for child actors. A few years ago, one of the twins didn’t want to go on “vacation” for filming, Jon went to pick her up and Kate threatened to have him arrested. How is that looking out for the best interest of your children?

Anonymous wrote:^I'll also point out that the two 19 year old young adults have chosen to be on camera with their mom, too.
The sextuplets will be adults in less than 3 years. Instead of alienating and trying to control his kids, why doesn't Jon let them do what they want to do and go to court ONLY if they indicate that Kate is pressuring them to be on t.v.?
Maybe the kids actually WANT to be camera.
