I don’t really have a problem with the celebration. It is somewhat of a taunt but whatever. My problem is their reaction to essentially being on the front page now. Welcome to modern sports journalism where criticism are levied regardless of how big or small the issue is. There just isn’t a story in “you’re amazing”.

Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of this generation and he got disemboweled in a scathing article this spring.

When World Cup is Over they can all go back to their 3rd page coverage of NWSL. In the meantime enjoy the success and accept the attention that will be fleeting soon enough. Be happy that you’re only real image problem right now is a goal celebration and not a getting kicked out of Epcot for being drunk and disorderly. [/quote]
