I support this wholeheartedly.  I voted for Marshall and Johns, but would be happy with Peace Valley if that is more palatable to the keepers than Marshall or Johns.  As far as I'm concerned, this isn't about getting a specific name or type of name, it's about no longer honoring someone who fought to keep slavery, and also saying that the school board's decision in 1958 to actively participate in the active resistance movement by calling the school JEB Stuart HS instead of Munson Hill HS was wrong.  If Peace Valley helps to lessen the rift between the two sides, that's a good choice. Hopefully the board will consider this when they pick a name. [/quote]
