I don't think will we see a player of Epstein's caliber in a very long time. As a junior, he shattered the all time points record at Landon, and he still has his senior season left. While I'm sure there will be a few strong freshman who make varsity for their respectful team, its a bit pre-mature to compare anyone to Epstein. He is the best offensive player to come out of the DC area in quite some time.[/quote]

In the IAC, talking about teams like Landon and Prep, there are some fantastic freshmen players who don't make varsity, let alone start on varsity.  It's the weaker teams like EHS or STA where a good freshman might actually get a fair amount of playing time.  Club lax is still the best measure of sorting out the next generation of studs.[/quote]
