In my mind it's a no-brainer. He is a neighbor of these people and ran home after the shootings. He was probably back in his house before the helicopters went up.[/quote]

I think he lives nearby too. I also think it's possible he's not targeting a certain demographic. Maybe that's just who's been home at 11:30 in the afternoon. And maybe a lot of the old people in these neighborhoods are "prominent members of Alexandria" because they've lived in the area so long.[/quote]
