Not too old. I would have had another (still fertile), but my third child had health problems, so we quit. The only drawback is fatigue. It's much harder when you are older. I hired a nanny to help me with my third child. It was absolutely necessary and worth every penny even though I SAH. But if you are one and done, that's fine! Your child will be fine, you will be happy. Do what's right for you. I really wanted three children (well, four actually), so was ecstatic to have my third well into my 40s. But that's me. And yes, I'm tired, but the kids are in their teens, so it does get easier. [/quote]
