Where are the traditional liberals? They used to believe in individual freedom and peace. Now you advocate for government totalitarianism and perpetual wars. You've lost your minds
Supporting Ukraine defending itself isn’t supporting “perpetual wars.” Supporting online moderation of bots, trolls, and bullying isn’t “totalitarianism”. You’re up to your eyeballs in RW outrage and you’ve lost any sense of critical thinking. Anxiety does that and it keeps you clicking on their articles. Don’t let them use you.
I'm sorry, but I don't see ANY critical thinking on DCUM. Just a hivemind of how awful the other side is. You progressives are great at winning elections. When it comes to running things, you suck, as does your ideology.
Progressives can only win in the deepest blue areas yet they think they can push their luck with the rest of the country. Overall both sides have sucked at governing. Whenever Democrats have been in charge they have failed to lock in vital policies, like protecting social security, Roe, voting rights, fixing gerrymandering, campaign finance reforms, needed immigration reforms, healthcare, wages, housing, worker and consumer protections, and so on while making government more solvent by ending tax cuts for billionaires, eliminating loopholes, offshoring and other dodges. They completely suck at messaging, they lack the short pithy soundbites and are inconsistent and incoherent and uncoordinated. They need to focus on messaging, and they need to put together a strong, coherent legislative agenda that will hit like a blitzkrieg to undo years of bad GOP policy and fix all of these things.
blaming democrats for not being able to get a handful or GOP to support wildly popular positions is not the democrats fault
