Trump: Egomaniac Will surround himself with super conservative wackos Embarrassing Decent cognitive ability US looks stupid if we elect such an odious man Biden: Cognitively not there Will surround himself with yes men and hidden figures. We won’t really know who is running the country (but presumably they aren’t wackos and have decent political experience) Dem voters are voicing displeasure in him as a candidate and asking him to step aside. He and his inner circle are ignoring the very voters he claims he wants to “serve.” US looks vulnerable if we elect such an incompetent man I’m (NC voter) leaning toward holding my nose and voting for Trump. I think we have to send a message to Biden, his yes men, and the DNC that they can’t shove an incompetent candidate down our throats.
I’m a registered Dem and leaning this way also.
I don't think voting for Trump is sending the message you think. Voting third party would be sending the message - although the third party candidates are a hot mess too.
I don't think voting for a third party sends any kind of "message" either. People who claim they are "sending a message" by voting for the candidate they don't prefer or not voting at all are like toddlers stamping their feet. Nobody is listening to you! Nobody will hear your "message" unless that message is that you think Trump is a good leader and also want more restrictions on women's healthcare. Despite what Biden might say, there is no Almighty listening to the voters and then deciding to do what is best for the people. There are only self interested politicians and operatives vying for power. All that voters can do is choose whichever politician most aligns with their interests and values. Citizens also have the option of organizing, advocating and even running for office, but of course that takes more work than not voting or voting for the other guy.
