GOP will sue to fracture the Dem vote. I wish the political class would stop falling for the BS. [twitter]https://x.com/cwebbonline/status/1810047748873630020[/twitter]
As far as I’m concerned, DNC created this mess in the primary by ignoring the majority’s opinion that Biden is too old. And left-wing media was complicit in covering up his mental decline. Voters are not to blame for not wanting to elect a candidate who is too far gone.
There was plenty of opportunity for people to elevate and rally around younger candidates.
The DNC and Congressional leadership made it very clear that any Democrat that chose to challenge a sitting President running for reelection would have their careers destroyed. And that went for staff too. In theory, anyone could have challenged Biden for the nomination. But in practice, the DNC, Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries and major donors ensured that it would be professional suicide both for the candidate as well as any staff that chose to work against Biden's reelection. Democratic leadership made it effectively impossible for there to be a meaningful primary process. Biden was chosen long before anyone could actually vote. The present catastrophe is entirely due to Democratic leadership. They have nothing but disdain for actual voters, and firmly believed they could simply coronate a rapidly declining geriatric who would be 86 in a second term.
