Actually they are merely quoting and paraphrasing Trump's attorneys who made those very arguments in the Supreme Court and the MAGA majority of the Supreme Court agreed with it.

Wrong, the Supreme Court didn’t agree with that and trumps lawyers didn’t say it.

The only threat to democracy is the fact the democrats and liberals immediately make the argument to attack the SCOTUS and Trump.

Oh dear, you didn't follow that case at all, did you.   Trump's attorneys did in fact have that conversation about assassinating a political opponent with SCOTUS and SCOTUS ruled in favor of absolute immunity.[/quote]
